Whats up with Rio Bravo? Reply to this Post

The place just seems to be getting progressively worse over time. Prep has been really bad lately. Not bagging on the place. I know Danny has some health issues. I'm just remembering back to when Vernon was in charge of the tracks. It was such a blast to ride there. Any way to bring Vernon back in the fold to run the place? Just sad to see it in the current state.

Danny is aware of the needs at Rio. As most know, between his health issues, constant flooding, break ins, fighting with insurance companies, equipment repairs, wresting with local, State, Federal acronyms for permission to kick a pebble, and getting grants for improvements, it's a tough row to hoe. Jim has his hands full out there, but recently had a couple of local folk come out and give the day track a revamp. Not sure what will be done with the night track though. The grants that Danny is working, and he may very well already have them in place, will improve the property greatly, and not just the tracks. And once again, I want nothing to do with track ownership; I'll gladly pay whatever fee they ask and go ride. May see everyone Saturday.
