KTM Launch Control? Reply to this Post

My 17 350 has launch control, but have never used or tried it. I know how to activate it, but not sure of its operation once it is set.

When I purchased the bike, they (Munn Racing) explained how it works, but not sure if I recall it correctly.

Once activated, you hold the throttle against the low rpm rev limiter, and launch the bike. I think it stays in "rev limiter launch mode" until the E.C.U. sees you move the throttle more or less, then it's back to its normal rpm operation.

I'm interested in seeing how the electronic launch control works on a start, as I now have my first fork launch control device, and it works really really well.

Monty,

The directions should be in your owners manual!

Thanks Howard, although I forgot about the manual, I would rather post here for real world experience.

Besides, aren't us guys supposed to not read the instructions? thinking

Isn't this relative to rider skills with clutch and throttle finesse'.
