Brrrr!! It's a cold and sloppy mess out there and the track isn't ride-able. A late decision was made to make some use out of the night track which will be mostly a "vintage friendly" outer loop with small jumps and a dog-leg or two thrown in. Ricky Parker and his crew were on 3 earth movers worked from 5 to 8pm shaping the track and moving sloppy areas aside. It was looking pretty good and with a little work will be suitable for racing. From what was discussed(not official), a race starting time for Saturday could be as late as 1-2pm which would most likely ending races under the lights.
The fish fry dinner was outstanding thanks to the Gary Davis, Diamond Don crew. A good time was had by all.
Anyway........if you plan on a visit over the weekend......bring your rubber boots with you!!

Re: AHRMA this weekend RIO Reply to this Post

lot's of good racing on the night track with the vintage bikes. Track crew did a great job of getting it prepped for the vintage guys.
Last night Ricky Parker was working the dozer on the inner sections of the track to make it a full course for Sunday's post-vintage event..
See ya at the track!
