Alligators And Lava Reply to this Post

50 years ago, me and my brother would play alligators and lava. You had to navigate through the house without getting burned or eaten alive from touching the floor. Or make it from the car to the sidewalk without touching the parking lot without the same fate.

50 years later, I'm playing again. Me and the grandkids have our routine when we stop somewhere. We walk the yellow lines, to the concrete parking barriers, and then on to the sidewalk. I've been bitten and burnt a few times, but eventually I'm going to splatter.

My brother and I played the same game, except for lava.....it was hot boiling vomit that we were trying to stay out of.

I thought we were the only ones that did that type of stuff, comforting to know that there are others who are just as warped as we are.

I did the same with my nieces when they were very young. I made it real as in they wouldn't get off the furniture till there mom or dad told them it was okay. Dang invisible gators. That was when I had a creepy crawler machine. They were not fond of them or me. LOL.

Hey Rick.
It could be be hidden away at my parents house in my old bedroom. It has on been a catch all since I moved out. Think there is a product that you could use in it.

Did y'all ever tie a sheet to a box fan and chairs, and make a billowing tent?

Some of the best sleep ever.
