Anyone want to help James Marshall? Reply to this Post

Looking at his facebook, he is stuck in a nursing home in a bad part of town now. Nurses dont care, lays around in his own feces and urine starring at the ceiling all day. Seems like he gets little to no visitors, spend holidays alone, no family visits. Even the people on his Facebook give a bunch of excuses why they cant help . Watching his video was horrific. Sounds like hes mentally starting to thow in the towel.

I want to do something to help. The dude needs more than a Paypal donation. He needs something just so he can have a good day for once. Something to lift his spirits. At least get him out of the home for a day and get some sunshine if possible. Sitting in there starring at the ceiling all day has to totally kill the spirit. Anyone on here know him? Know his current condition? Can he even leave? I dont know him and I dont think the home is going to just let strangers in there. I sent him a message on FB but unless youre friends with the person Fb filters the message into hidden junk folders so he wont see it.

Anyways the dude needs help more now than ever.

I don't know him, but i remember many people on this site used to do a lot for James. Does he not have any family or friends? That's sad that he is sitting in a nursing home all alone.

Re: Anyone want to help James Marshall? Reply to this Post

I just visited him up at Herman Hospital Katy. I was at home doing nothing and saw him posting on Facebook from there. He was asking for help and seemed like he was in a bad place physically and mentally. It's the holidays and I hate to see people like that during this time. I'm like 10 minutes from there, so I thought I would just do what little I could. I just went up there and introduced myself and talked to him for a couple hours. I'm not a big talker, but he is, so we were a good fit cause he likes to talk. I'm a good listener though.

He had no idea who I was and he had a big question mark on his face when I walked in. But when he realized I was there to hang out and BS for a while it seemed to raise his spirits and I think he really liked my company.

I'm glad I went and will be visiting again. If anyone wants to visit or make his day he would like some Medium size tshirts, lemonade flavored (white bottle) Vitamin Water, and chicken noodle soup.
