It is not clear what caused these issues. The aneurysm is not a bubble in this case, it is an increase in the diameter of the aorta just distal the the left ventricle. My guess is that is was caused by very high blood pressure during 2016 as I pounded down Monster energy drinks to help me do what I needed to do during my wife's illness.

My guess it that the dissection was the end result of a bruised aorta incurred from the get off in CA. In addition to broken ribs, I had fractured spinous processes in 4 thoracic vertebrate. This a not serious but it does indicate that my back had blunt trauma, and the dissection is on the backside of the aorta.

What the heck. It is what it is. BP meds, regular CT scans, and maybe occasional rides on a long-travel bike post vintage bike rather than a bone shaker CZ :)
