Helpful information from VP race fuels Reply to this Post

I've been using C12 since I got back into bikes ('09) and as I pointed out in past discussions, I'm convinced that the lead content has promoted top-end longevity.
Doesn't make sense to be cheap and buy pump "swill" when the extra few bucks you pay for quality fuel, results engine reliability.

It is a good article biggrin ...

I dont believe it is about folks penny pinching with the fuels...

It has to do with a certain amount of convienence to just go with pump gas...

I for one would like others to chime in on exactly how they do their 2 stroke fuels... Straight race fuel, mixes of race fuel and pump gas...

If so then which best horrible pump gas ya using....

Thanks Rick

Thanks for the info Larry. I always wondered about the differences between all the VP fuels.
Myself, cheap as I am, I run a mix of premium pump gas (Shell or Exxon...not Valero) and aviation gas. Don't ask me where to get Av gas...it's a secret!

Great information, but I didn't see a fuel that was leaded, non oxygenated, and for a 4-stroke. confused
