I've been to Desoto a couple of times for a regular race. It is a fun, fast, easy track with good dirt. The Parker's are the nicest folk ever. The do have a big pavilion, but yes, bring shade. My wife and I stayed in a fine old bead and breakfast just down the road in town. We had the entire 2 story place to ourselves. My wife spent the entire time in the claw footed bathtub, or on the second story balcony reading. That area is rich in early American history. A lot of outlaws would hide out in that area.
Give them bread and circuses, and they will never revolt.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the race. Ricky has been moving dirt and making track changes to accomodate the vintage and post vintage bikes. Dad and friends are finishing the trails. Mom has booked all the electric hook ups so bring a generator if you plan to stay at the track. Safe travel, see you at the track.
Well this is not Trampas, I am the slower brother. Although I look better. Just giving you guys an update. Trails are ready, about 7 miles per lap. Dad did a trial run and made it in about 23 minutes. Track is ready to be watered. Ricky included the pit with a couple bowl turns that should be a blast. See you Friday night.
