Re: MX vs ATV Alive << SX Tracks >> Reply to this Post

The game sucks a ton at the beginning.

When you're starting out, maneuvering the bike is difficult (not near as easy as on Reflex) , cornering is difficult (because you have to use that brake, whereas on Reflex, you did not)...

Once you get to lvl 50, you see that overall the game is fun. You get used to the graphics, and it becomes really addicting. The last perk you unlock at Lv.50 is a let down though.

As far as the Supercross tracks go >> They're not available yet, but the will be, so keep your pants on. The guys are going to release SX tracks later for us to purchase.

Now, you're thinking "What? They make me buy the game, then I have to purchase additional things to actually enjoy it?" and you're partially right.. they did it this way for a reason.

Instead of charging full price for the entire game w/SX tracks included ($60.00), the price of the game in-store is only $40.00. For those that do not like the SX tracks, they do not have to pay for the SX tracks, and therefore get the game at a lower price. However, if you want the full experience, then you need to fork over the extra $20.00 when the SX tracks are released. As far as I know, this is true for both XBL and PSN.

Hang in there guys, SX is coming.

what would REALLY suck is if they made you buy the game at the full price of $60.00, and then made your purchase SX tracks on top of that...

Only riding I've been able to do lately is in Alive. It is awesome, much better playability and racing than Reflex.
